New Madden Girl Sandals and Shoes - 2011 Spring and Summer Styles

There are quite a number of new Madden Girl styles from Steve Madden this spring and summer of 2011 - but some of the most recent new shoes to come out particularly caught my eye.  There is more than one thing to love about these shoes for women -- they of course are gorgeous and true to form for the Steve Madden collection, they are unique and extremely fashion forward.  But - these shoes are created with women in mind who are perhaps of a younger age group and/or for those who are not only fashion conscious, but are perhaps more budget conscious as well.

For spring and summer of 2011, here are a number of top picks among the new Madden girl styles:

Madden Girl Mickyy Thong Sandal - This sandal could easily be a gal's "go to" sandal this year.  It is perfectly styled to not only go with just about anything, but also to add a touch of flair.  Available in a couple of colors.  Retail price for the Mickyy is around $50.

Madden Girl Fritzz Sandal - When looking over the entire lineup of new Madden Girl shoes, this one stood out as being one of the most eye catching styles.  It is a heeled sandal with a fun pin stripe look, available in a few different colors - all of which are crossed up with white to add a punchy look.  Retail price for the Fritzz is around $50.

Madden Girl Pintaa Flats - Adorable, adorable, adorable.  These ballet flats from the Madden Girl lineup are not only available in great colors, but the designs and color contrasts make it decidedly feminine as well.  My favorite of the two striking looks is the Natural Multi, but both are great choices.  Retail price for the Pintaa is also around $50.

Madden Girl Alexsa Pump - Here is a rather affordable version of an absolutely stunning platform pump.  The toe of these shoes has just a touch of a point, giving them a bit of a unique twist.  These shoes come in black (sleek!) and Champagne.  Retail price for the Alexsa is around $50.

Madden Girl Sookiee Pump - Like the Alexsa, the Sookiee is a sultry platform style - however there is one major difference, with the Sookiee's slingback design.  This is a great choice to go with many different types of ensembles, adding a unique touch to any of them.  Retail price for the Sookiee is around - yes, $50.

Madden Girl Kingdome Wedge Sandal - The Kingdome is a very trendy sandal, having both a bold wedge and a woven strappy look.  This is an excellent sandal choice to wear with skirts, jeans or anything in between.  Retail price for the Kingdome is - you guessed it - $50.  =)

New Steve Madden - 7 Styles to Swoon Over Spring 2011

After a few years now of writing about fashion for women, this is the first (of probably many) post about new Steve Madden styles.  There really are no other looks quite like what is available to women in the Steve Madden collection, and very likely he will continue to put out styles that take the lead in fashion for many years to come.

After looking into a number of new styles that are available to women coming in to the spring and summer seasons, here are 7 picks that I immediately fell in love with - and suspect that other women will as well:

After looking over quite a number of new styles coming out in 2011, this is the one that made me say, "Ooooooh yeeeeeaaaah...."  =)  I think that there is no arguing how stylish this sandal is, and that even though it follows a Roman style in trends, there is no other sandal like it.  Wide strappy look with bold buckles that really round out the look.

Steve Madden Antiqqua Sandal - This also is a unique look, with metal detailing combined with a leather strapped upper.  It has a sort of antique or vintage look, and is a versatile choice for women this spring and summer of 2011.

Steve Madden Cabezza Sandal - This is another Roman "Gladiator-esque" look this year from the Steve Madden collection.  The focus of this sandal seems to be up the vamp - a combination of chain and studding to create a sort of a "don't mess with me..." look and is a gorgeous way to stand apart - very eye catching.  At this point it is available in a few different colors, including Cognac, Black and White.

Steve Madden Serenite Thong Sandal - The Serenite may just turn out to be "the" thong sandal of spring and summer 2011.  It has a gorgeous strapped heel look and a bold looking buckle closure to combine both fashion and practicality giving an improved fit.  This sandal can be found in four shades - Blush, Cognac, White and Black.

Steve Madden Grooom Thong Sandal - The Grooom sandal is a glitzy, and more than a tad bit glamorous choice for a sandal this year.  It comes in multicolored rhinestones and the "Rhinestone" single-toned shade for the detailing.  You can really "shine" in these!

The new Steve Madden Annnie-L shoes for women are true eye-stealers coming into spring of 2011.

They have quite a unique design, with a platform wedge basic style, but also having a lace-up front that makes them appropriate for even Monday-Friday work.  They are the perfect way to provide "funky" with classic looks and style.

Details:  Double eyelet front, lace up design.

Fossil Vintage Reissue II Fabric Hobo - New Handbag from Fossil 2011

Ya just gotta love Fossil handbags - and for the spring season of 2011 there is one bag that is at least worthy of mentioning - the Fossil Vintage Reissue Fabric Hobo.

About colors:  At this writing there are a couple of different choices in basic colors - Cream and Navy - both of which are shown on this page.  Each color has its own unique look.

Overall style:  This bag has a lovely vintage look to it, with all of the functionality a lady might want.  While the foldover pockets have the appearance of having buckle closures, they are actually magnetic, making them quite easy to use.  There are two basic ways that this bag could be used - as a handbag (with a shorter strap) or a crossbody (with a longer strap).  Very cool.  =)

Pricing:  At this writing this bag is pretty new, so it will be tough to find it at a discount price - and we have tried!  The retail price is around $115-$120.
