I for one am ready for spring, and one of the new Frye shoe styles for 2011 appears to be waiting for ladies who feel the same way - the Frye Emma Woven Ballet Flat.
For those of us women who appreciate having a shoe style which is a "staple" of a wardrobe, this is a great choice. It is simple, yet it is quite lovely - and not even a little bit boring.
The basic style is interwoven leather for the upper in a soft silhouette that will accent the shape of a woman's foot. With all of the different colors that this ballet flat comes in, it will be quite tempting to purchase multiple pairs. =)
Speaking of colors: The Frye Emma Woven Slipper is available in nine different shades (as of this writing) - they include Cognac (shown in the photo above), Black, Blush, Dark Brown, Leaf, Natural, Purple, Red and Slate.
Cost: Retail price for this shoe is $178.00.
Shopping: While at this writing I was only able to find one merchant who carries the Frye Emma Woven Ballet Flat online, it will very likely come available at other sites as well in the near future. The best place to find "who carries what and for what price" for these shoes is at the Fashion Fiend website, since you will find that the merchant listings there are kept updated and you can get a good look at the entire selection available from multiple merchants (when they come available).
Another spring season is around the corner, and with it comes another great warm weather shoe from Frye - the Frye Emma Woven Ballet Flat. =)
All for now -
