You know, I have been consistently and pleasantly surprised regarding all of the Minnetonka footwear since I really began researching them -- and the Minnetonka Pug Boots are definitely not an exception to this!

Yes, I am a fan of other brands of similar styles of sheepskin boots, but I also believe that it's definitely worth one's time to look over all of what's available before making a final purchasing decision.  At any rate, here are the reasons I (strongly) recommend these boots:

• Better quality -- really?!  Yes.  These boots are made with a thicker and softer sheepskin than other brands.  They also have a thicker and more comfortable inner wool lining than others - yes, even UGG.  
• Lower price - This may or may not matter to shoppers, but that info can be quite important to some.  The price tag for Minnetonka Pugs is anywhere between about $35 to $50 less than other more popular brands - even though they are quickly becoming recognized by consumers as having a higher quality.

Other information to know:  There are basically two classes or styles of the Pug boots - the "Classic" and the "Sheepskin" (minus the "Classic" label).  The differences may be important or not to shoppers, which include the fact that the "Classic" boots have a bit of coloring to touch up the inner wool portion of the boot.  This can be a "make or break" point for ladies who like to wear their boots folded over -- showing off the high quality of the wool on the inside.  The Classic version also has a more classic looking style to it - very similar to UGG classic styles.

Bottom line:  I am becoming more and more sold on Minnetonka products for women -- as time goes by I notice that there are almost no negative comments on them in consumer reviews (overwhelmingly positive), while also having some of the highest quality in footwear craftsmanship.  Do I recommend Minnetonka Pug boots for women?  You bet!

About the Minnetonka Front Lace Boot for Women:

It seems to me that women would reeeeeally love this boot - or reeeeeeally not.  It's got quite a strong fashion statement to it, and is most definitely a style that would befit a woman who likes a bit of an edge to her look.  (Like me.  =))

Who should not buy the boot:  The Minnetonka Front Lace women's boot seems to be made for ladies who have medium to thin-sized calves.  A thicker calf (per consumer reviews) creates a bit of an awkward look and fit.  Also - it's my guess that women who are quite petite might not have a good fit with the boot - if there is any question on this you can measure - the height of the boot shaft is about 16" from the arch of the foot.  If this comes above the knee for you, then I just wouldn't go there - the boot is designed to fit well just under the knee, not above it.

To start with - for those who are already shopping for Sheepskin Minnetonka boots, here is the best shopping I have found online for them - low pricing, fast free shipping:

About the Boots:  Bottom line - Sheepskin Minnetonka Boots come recommended!  =)  Some of the boots in the lineup of Minnetonka Sheepskin do look quite a bit like other brands of sheepskin boots - but on closer inspection I found out that they are not actually "just like" them - nor are they meant to be.  The upper part of the boot is made not only from sheepskin, but from thick, soft and extra comfortable sheepskin.  The look of them also has a subtle difference with some shading added to the inner wool lining, which adds a nice touch to the looks.

And - the price for these boots is generally lower than with other brands of classic sheepskin footwear styles - that's always a nice "plus" eh?  =) 

Would I recommend these boots?  Absolutely - if you're hunting about for a high quality sheepskin boot for winter, I can say that you will not be disappointed in these - the craftsmanship is superior, the looks are trendy and fun - and you would be hard pressed to beat the prices for Sheepskin Minnetonka boots!
