Frye Paige Riding Boot - All Current Styles, Recommended Shopping

Did you know...  There are a few different choices from the Frye Paige Riding Boot collection to choose from?  The boot most often thought of and searched for is the Frye Paige "Tall Riding" boot - which is shown here on the left.  But when shopping around (especially when making a bit of an investment on a fashion item) it might be wise to check out some other looks available to you - right?  =)

The total list of Frye Paige Riding Boots includes the Tall Riding boot (as mentioned above), the Frye Paige Cuff and the Hurache Paige Boot (my personal favorite among the equestrian-specific styles).

Suburb Crochet UGG Boots - Shopping for Fall and Winter 2009

Back for another year in the UGG Australia boots lineup - the Suburb Crochet UGG.  Over the past year or so, these have become well known as the cold weather boot, and are loved by women especially those who live in quite cold environments in the winter time.

And - of course, let's not forget fashion!  The UGG Suburb Crochet boots have a fun leather tassle tie around the top of the boot - as well as some lovely (and soft - and warm) sheepskin fringe around the top of the boot.

They're available in some beautiful, rich colors this year - I love the selection!

Knit UGG Boots and Crochet UGG Boots are among my favorite subjects this year coming into the fall and winter seasons of 2009.

I thought it might be helpful to clarify exactly what classifies as a "Knit UGG Boot" - it actually is a bit different than the crochet versions, although both are lovely, comfy and very warm.  =)

When you are looking specifically for the UGG Knit Boots, you will find a couple of new boots that are available just this year - the Argyle UGG boot (shown left) and the Cable Knit Stripe UGG Boot.

For either or both of these styles, below is the best shopping I have found for them online - a majority of the resources here provide free and fast shipping as well (which can be figured in to the "cost equation"):

Sweater UGG Boots - What and Where to Buy

OK - moving into the season of warm and cozy winter boots - starting along with the Sweater UGG Boots for women this season.

I thought last year that nothing could top the Cardy style but I might have been mistaken - there still is nothing more comfy and elegant than the Cardy boots (at least in my book), but if the new styles don't exceed the Cardy then they come quite close.

Here is info on the total lineup of UGG Sweater Boots this season ('09 and '10):

UGG Classic Cardy - Yes, we know about these but the new colors available are gorgeous.  There is a lovely mix of the classic favorites and new colors such as Sorbet (a sort of a soft mauve pink), Pool (a lovely shade of aqua blue) and some others as well.

Women's Frye Harness 2 Ring Boot - Fabulous Style, Best Shopping

It would be tough not to love the Women's Frye Harness 2 Ring boot - would you agree?  Frye seems to know exactly how to add some serious style to an already stylin' boot - and this is a perfect example of that fact!

These boots combine the classic and bold look of the Frye Harness for women with an added rings and thin secure strapping on top to give it quite a bit more flair - without being at all "too-too" on the style.

Women's Frye Harness 12R Boot - What I Love, Best Shopping

The Women's Frye Harness 12R boot for women almost requires no introduction.  This is very likely the most popular boot in the women's collection from Frye - I'm assuming that is the case since it was last year, and this year looks like it's ramping up to be "#1" as well.  =)

I looooooooooooove the Frye Harness 12R for women - I must admit that I am a woman with a tiny bit of a rugged edge and adore a look that communicates a sort of "don't mess with me..." with a distinct feminine appeal.  =)

Apparently women agree with me on this point - plenty of them have specifically searched for and purchased the Women's Frye Harness 12R boot and I expect many more will in months and years to come.

Another thing to love about the Harness 12R from Frye is the color selection.  There are some gorgeous and rich colors to choose from - including a dark green shade that recently caught my fancy.

I've been keeping a rather close eye on the Frye collection of boots for women and earlier this year I took special note of the original Frye Carson Boot. Frye Carson Boot - Styles for Fall and Winter 2009

The Frye Carson Boot for women has become more of a fashion subject that I originally thought it would be earlier this year - of course the original Frye Carson Boot is nothing to underestimate - the word has gotten out on these boots and it appears that women are truly falling head over heels - which is probably why a number of new styles have emerged in the lineup - here is what can be found for fall and winter 2009:

Frye Carson Boot - original style (Shown left in red) - this boot is one of the more comfortable and stylin' boots around.  It's available in a rather fun variety of colors and even with it's traditional western style, women who normally wouldn't "go western" certainly are doing so with this one.  The look is distinct while not being "too too" for many women's tastes.

Frye Carson Pull On (Shown Right) - This boot has become the most specifically searched for boot in the Carson collection - it's well known for having luxuriously soft leather and being quite comfortable right out of the box.  Lovely.

Frye Carson Harness - (Shown Left) - This boot rather speaks for itself in terms of style.  The bold style of a harness goes perfectly with the already gorgeous Carson look.  This harness boot has a bit of a sleeker and simpler look - no added studs or buckles but then again, it doesn't need them!  =)

Frye Carson Shortie (Shown Right) - Yes, the fun style of a "shortie" is now available with the Carson collection.  For women who love the look of a shorter - sort of an ankle boot style - this will be a sure hit this year.  It's also a great boot for warmer months, going great with short skirts - you name it. 

Frye Carson Perforated or "Perf" (Shown Left) - The original Frye Carson Boot style with a vintage leather upper and a perforated boot shaft.  This particular boot is well known for having leather that feels quite light and are available in some bold and bright colors.

Frye Carson Shoulder Bag (Shown Right) - OK, given this is not a boot, but I wanted to bring it up anyway.  This would be the perfect handbag to go with a great pair of the Carson boots - no matter which style is chosen.  The bag is available in an impressive variety of colors, it's made of beautifully soft leather and has enough room and organization to fit most women's needs.  Lovely.

Women's Frye Harness on eBay - Current Auctions, How to Shop

When shopping for fashion on eBay, some auctions are more plentiful than others - auctions for Women's Frye Harness on eBay are more than plentiful - there's actually a huge number of them (at least every time I've checked).

This is a good thing - it makes it easy to find a great deal due to the amount of competition for sales on these boots.  However - some steps should also be taken to ensure that you're getting what you want - with decent service and help.

Below are current auctions happening right now on eBay.  Use the arrow buttons on the right to scroll and find additional auctions.  (Check down the page for tips on making a purchase, especially if you're new to shopping from eBay auctions.)

Watching for new sellers:  If you see that there are very few ratings (indicating very few sales), that means that the seller is new to what he or she is doing, and may be a bit risky to try out.  It also might mean that the person has multiple accounts, and uses them to do less than honest things - I won't go into that tooooo much, but I will just leave you with this idea - if the person has only sold 1-5 things and has one or more negative ratings, run! Find another auction.  Otherwise, use your own judgement on the sale.


Is the price very very low?  If so, give a thorough check to the person's rating and comments on service.  If the person is known for selling "fakes" then you can probably bet that the person is using a "Frye" label for boots that are not the real thing.  If the person has a great average rating with no such comments, it's a good bet that you're just getting a really good deal.

In no way do I advocate the idea of skepticism - but it never hurts to be cautious when purchasing from an individual rather than a company that provides a guarantee when shopping - right?

Ed Hardy Pumps - Oh My.

When I recently took a nice look at what's available these days in terms of Ed Hardy Pumps, yes, the first thing I said (to myself) was "Oh My."  They really and truly are something to behold - and if you're a fan of Ed Hardy designs you might just fall in love.

The three styles that I found and fell in love with include the Hampton (shown left in black), the Rock Away and the Stacey.  Each of these has a different look, different colors and different designs.  None of them are lacking in style.

Best Shopping:  There are two major resources that I recommend - all others that I found either didn't carry many (or any) women's Ed Hardy Pumps or they just put too high of a price tag on them.  Here they are:
