Blue Chuck Taylor® - Cool "Blues" for Feet

I can't think of a better way to have "the blues" than with a great pair of Blue Chuck Taylor® shoes!

And - there are three blues to choose from, which is what this post is all about - the shades and styles available for Blue Chuck Taylor® shoes. =)

OK - Let's start with Baby Blue Chuck Taylor® (also called "Carolina Blue"). Based on what I've observed, these appear to be the most popular color of all three shades of blues for the CT's - They're available in men's and women's sizes only (that I was able to easily find) in Hi Top and Lo/Ox.

Chocolate Chuck Taylor® - Styles, Where to Buy

When someone is looking for Chocolate Chuck Taylor® shoes they might be looking for hi tops, lo (Ox) - or perhaps another style.

I did a bit of looking into what styles were readily available for Chocolate Chuck Taylor® shoes, and here is what I found...

Chocolate Chuck Taylor® Hi Tops - You might have already figured that one out, given the fact that there is a big photo of them on the page - yes, they're available. My recommended shopping resource for the hi tops is - Zappos.com. (You get free shipping and free returns with them, and thus can spend less than you would otherwise.) They are also available in men/women's sizes as well as for toddlers and infants.

Chocolate Chuck Taylor® Lo Tops ("Ox") - Yes, you can get these too quite easily. And there are some other varieties available including infant and toddler sizes (cute) - again the best resource that I know of to get them is - Zappos.com.

Chocolate Chuck Taylor® Slip-On Shoes - These are pretty nifty. No need for lacing - they stay in place all by themselves and the look is cool - "laceless". Same resource I recommend for these - Zappos.com.

Psssst -- If you look below you will also see some eBay auctions for the various styles of Chocolate Chuck Taylor® shoes - you might be able to beat the prices - but just be aware to check the seller's rating and also be aware that you'll probably be paying shipping costs.

Purple Chuck Taylor® - Core and Seasonal Colors

Purple Chuck Taylor® - aka "Purple Chucks" hit a nice popularity peak in '08 - I ended up turning over rocks just looking for them!

But they're back in 2009 and looks like there's several options in terms of merchants that are selling them...

Also - Purple Chuck Taylor® have a seasonal shade available that you might like if you're looking for something a bit "off the path". =)

Standard (core) color of Purple Chuck Taylor® shoes is "Passion Purple" - that's the shade in the photo top-left. Here are some options to buy them online:

Zappos.com - My favorite for the Purple Chuck Taylor - they have not only the core Purple Passion color, but also have them in seasonal Purple (at least at this point in time). eBay.com - eBay is rather a subject in itself when it comes to buying CT's - I have been pleasantly surprised at the number of auctions for all kinds of Chuck Taylor® Colors: Find Purple Chuck Taylor® Shoes on eBay.

Styles available - there's standard CT Core Hi and Lo (Ox), occasionally you might be able to find them in the Chuck Taylor® Slips and other styles too. (If these alternate styles are what you're looking for, your best bet is to try the eBay link above or to check on the auctions listed below on eBay.)



As a note, I didn't have much luck (at all) finding them in kids' and toddler sizes, but there is a cute purple print for infants @ Zappos.

Purple "Chucks" are actually one of my favorite colors - and that's not only true for me, I was amazed at the number of people looking for them last year.

Chuck Taylor® Colors and Buying Them Online

OK CT fans - Fashion Fiend here bringing you the latest scoop on the Chuck Taylor® Colors available these days - what are the basics? Where are the best places to buy them online?

I recently wrote a single post about Pink Chuck Taylor® shoes - but decided I would like to take up all of the colors, so will be writing more about them in the next week or so - starting here.

At any rate - here is a list Chuck Taylor® Colors available (as of January, 2009) - along with the best place (best discounts and/or supply) for each color that I've found to buy them online - here we go...

• Blue Chuck Taylor® - well, actually 3 shades of blue, including Baby Blue (also called "Carolina Blue"), Royal Blue and Navy Blue. Depending on the shade of blue, they are available in various size ranges including men and women's sizes, kids sizes, even down to the smallest infant sizes. (Sweet.) The best place I know of to buy any of them - with more selection of styles - is Zappos.com


• Green Chuck Taylor® - Next to black and white basics, the greens are the most sought after color. They're also available in a variety of size ranges (infant CT's included). Best place to buy? Definitely Zappos.com - best selection and competetive prices.


• Chocolate Chuck Taylor® - Yum. This is a nice versatile rich dark brown color from the Chuck Taylor® Colors lineup that will go with pretty much anything with it's own unique look. Wide range of sizes - and there's no shortage of them either (not tough to find online). Best merchant to buy from for selection - Zappos.


• Pink Chuck Taylor® - Well I fully described those in a previous post, including where to buy - rather than say it again ->> Click Here - Visit the Pink Chuck Taylor® post.


• Orange Converse All Star® - Now the air is getting a bit thin in terms of supply of the CT's. I had a bit of a tough time finding these myself, and I don't see that kids and/or infant sizes are available in the Orange. The best place I found to buy them - eBay.com.


• Yellow Chuck Taylor® - Not as tough to find as Orange Converse All Star® shoes, but still took some digging. These I found in kids' sizes as well - best place to buy is definitely eBay.


• Purple Chuck Taylor® - Last year the Purple Chuck Taylor® shoes hit a "popularity peak" - and for a while I wasn't able to find them. Well, they're back now in their "best-dressed" Passion Purple color. Best place to buy - Zappos.com.


• Plaid Chuck Taylor® - Ooooh, the air is getting a bit thin again. Plaid Chuck Taylor® shoes are a bit hard to find in just the color you want (there are various plaids) - for example if you're looking for a red-based plaid you might have a hard time unless you're looking for a kids' size. OK - at any rate, there are a few places to buy these - but the best? Definitely eBay.com for the plaid.


• Grey All Star® - There are two shades of grey/gray available - "Grey" and "Charcoal". These are fairly easy to find in just about any size and are also available in a few styles (not just "hi" and "lo"). Best place to buy them - Zappos.com.

Women's Ed Hardy Double-Sleeve Shirts

Women's Ed Hardy Double-Sleeve Shirts - Hello Love.

What you see here to the left is the "Siren" Double-Sleeve from the Women's Ed Hardy Shirts collection. (The name implies "dangerously seductive" - hmmmmm. I'll have to give that some thought.)

This particular shirt is available in Black as well as Lavender - it's embellished beautifully with rhinestones, and has the trademark "Ed Hardy" signature on the back with some fun and funky skulls on the sleeves. =)

This one is a Fashion Fiend Favorite - by a long shot.

But - to each their own! There are a number of other designs available in the Women's Ed Hardy Double-Sleeve lineup - this is but one. All of them have a similar appearance to the Ed Hardy Tattoo Sleeve Women's shirts - but without the sheer look.
