This is a good thing - it makes it easy to find a great deal due to the amount of competition for sales on these boots. However - some steps should also be taken to ensure that you're getting what you want - with decent service and help.

Watching for new sellers: If you see that there are very few ratings (indicating very few sales), that means that the seller is new to what he or she is doing, and may be a bit risky to try out. It also might mean that the person has multiple accounts, and uses them to do less than honest things - I won't go into that tooooo much, but I will just leave you with this idea - if the person has only sold 1-5 things and has one or more negative ratings, run! Find another auction. Otherwise, use your own judgement on the sale.
Is the price very very low? If so, give a thorough check to the person's rating and comments on service. If the person is known for selling "fakes" then you can probably bet that the person is using a "Frye" label for boots that are not the real thing. If the person has a great average rating with no such comments, it's a good bet that you're just getting a really good deal.
In no way do I advocate the idea of skepticism - but it never hurts to be cautious when purchasing from an individual rather than a company that provides a guarantee when shopping - right?
