Women's Couture Gladiator Shoes

Shown left are the Calvin Klein "Maya" sandals - one of the hottest in an absolutely gorgeous lineup of Women's Couture Gladiator shoes coming into the Spring and Summer seasons for 2009.

The subject of "women's couture" when it comes to talking about gladiator sandals this year is quite a big subject - so I will do what I can here to keep it simple, and list out three of the hottest sellers so far for the year.

As I mention above, the "Maya" is one of the hottest sellers from the couture designers this year, coming to us from Calvin Klein. These feature a leather or patent leather upper, a solid backing and delicate but elaborate lacing up the front. I've seen these in the price range of around $450 from a few resources.

The next one (that practically knocked me over when I saw it) is the Ralph Lauren Jacie (shown right). The Jacie is elegance defined - featuring delicate multiple wrap-around straps and a zipper in the back for easy on and off. A braid moves along the top of the shoe serving to add some serious flair to this design. Price on these runs around $550.

The third of the women's couture gladiator shoes that I would like to mention is the L.A.M.B. Tizzy (shown left) - like it's name, the style of this shoe could likely create quite a commotion! The combination of the elegant Roman style with a 4 1/2" heel is enough to turn heads of people everywhere. The price for the Tizzy is around $350.

This year (2009) there are some amazing styles to choose from, and I would not at all be surprised to find a number of new designer styles surfacing in the not-too-distant future. The three that I list here however, are not only gorgeous, but based on some consumer trends have some of the hottest demand.
