Chuck Taylor® Colors and Buying Them Online

OK CT fans - Fashion Fiend here bringing you the latest scoop on the Chuck Taylor® Colors available these days - what are the basics? Where are the best places to buy them online?

I recently wrote a single post about Pink Chuck Taylor® shoes - but decided I would like to take up all of the colors, so will be writing more about them in the next week or so - starting here.

At any rate - here is a list Chuck Taylor® Colors available (as of January, 2009) - along with the best place (best discounts and/or supply) for each color that I've found to buy them online - here we go...

• Blue Chuck Taylor® - well, actually 3 shades of blue, including Baby Blue (also called "Carolina Blue"), Royal Blue and Navy Blue. Depending on the shade of blue, they are available in various size ranges including men and women's sizes, kids sizes, even down to the smallest infant sizes. (Sweet.) The best place I know of to buy any of them - with more selection of styles - is Zappos.com


• Green Chuck Taylor® - Next to black and white basics, the greens are the most sought after color. They're also available in a variety of size ranges (infant CT's included). Best place to buy? Definitely Zappos.com - best selection and competetive prices.


• Chocolate Chuck Taylor® - Yum. This is a nice versatile rich dark brown color from the Chuck Taylor® Colors lineup that will go with pretty much anything with it's own unique look. Wide range of sizes - and there's no shortage of them either (not tough to find online). Best merchant to buy from for selection - Zappos.


• Pink Chuck Taylor® - Well I fully described those in a previous post, including where to buy - rather than say it again ->> Click Here - Visit the Pink Chuck Taylor® post.


• Orange Converse All Star® - Now the air is getting a bit thin in terms of supply of the CT's. I had a bit of a tough time finding these myself, and I don't see that kids and/or infant sizes are available in the Orange. The best place I found to buy them - eBay.com.


• Yellow Chuck Taylor® - Not as tough to find as Orange Converse All Star® shoes, but still took some digging. These I found in kids' sizes as well - best place to buy is definitely eBay.


• Purple Chuck Taylor® - Last year the Purple Chuck Taylor® shoes hit a "popularity peak" - and for a while I wasn't able to find them. Well, they're back now in their "best-dressed" Passion Purple color. Best place to buy - Zappos.com.


• Plaid Chuck Taylor® - Ooooh, the air is getting a bit thin again. Plaid Chuck Taylor® shoes are a bit hard to find in just the color you want (there are various plaids) - for example if you're looking for a red-based plaid you might have a hard time unless you're looking for a kids' size. OK - at any rate, there are a few places to buy these - but the best? Definitely eBay.com for the plaid.


• Grey All Star® - There are two shades of grey/gray available - "Grey" and "Charcoal". These are fairly easy to find in just about any size and are also available in a few styles (not just "hi" and "lo"). Best place to buy them - Zappos.com.
